The S-15 series is a 15W single-output power supply designed for equipment that needs a stable, low-noise DC rail from any mains supply. Its full-range 85–264VAC input (also accepting 120–370VDC) removes the need for regional variants, while the 47–63Hz range covers both 50Hz and 60Hz grids. Five factory-set output voltages — 5V, 12V, 15V, 24V and 48V — cover the most common control, sensing and logic rails, each trimmable by ±10% via the on-board adjuster.
Output quality is tuned for noise-sensitive loads. Ripple and noise stay between 50mVp-p and 100mVp-p depending on model (measured at 20MHz with a 12" twisted pair terminated by 0.1µF // 47µF), supported by a built-in EMI filter. Voltage tolerance is ±1%, with ±0.5% line and ±0.5% load regulation, 200ms setup / 100ms rise time and 30ms hold-up time at full load — so downstream boards ride through brief mains dips without resetting.
Reliability is built in rather than added on. Overload at 115–135% of rated power triggers hiccup mode and recovers automatically once the fault is cleared; over-voltage protection shuts the output down and clamps it with a zener diode; short-circuit protection is standard. Every unit passes a 100% full-load burn-in test before shipment. Predicted MTBF is ≥720,600 hours per MIL-HDBK-217F at 25℃, the series is rated for 43,000 hours of continuous operation at 25℃, and a 2-year warranty covers the whole range.
Mechanically it stays out of the way: 99 × 97 × 35mm, 0.25kg, 5-pin screw terminal (AC/L, AC/N, FG, DC −V, DC +V), and no fan — cooling is by free air convection, so leave clearance around the unit. 1.5KVAC I/P-O/P and I/P-FG isolation plus 100MΩ/500VDC insulation resistance, together with IEC/EN 60335-1 (PD3), IEC/EN 61558-1/-2-16, GB4943.1 and EN 60950.1 compliance, make it suitable for home appliances as well as industrial controls. Operating range is −10~+60℃ with derating (refer to the derating curve, and derate further at low input voltage); storage −20~+85℃, 20–90% RH non-condensing.
